Charging Handle - WHAT ARE YOU USING?
Good Morning Guys,
This thread is a little bit quiet, What charging handles are you using, or modified?
Mine is still stock T-56 and I am looking ideas to not get my hand pinched/cut up when racking the bolt!
I have seen the 3% one but not sure if they still around or do them?
Post a pic and some info where you got it and how much you paid.

Re: Charging Handle - WHAT ARE YOU USING?
The only way to get your hand cut or pinched by an AK is if your forefinger is against the charging handle.
If left handed just wipe it back with your RH palm, thumb away from gun. If you are right handed reach from below (under the gun) with LH and wipe it back with LH thumb, or grab it from above with RH and pull straight rearward. Or you could cant the rifle to the left, reach over with LH and wipe it back with the palm...No need for extended levers. You will be surprised at how fast an AK can be run using proper technique and a bit of practice.

Re: Charging Handle - WHAT ARE YOU USING?
I've been running mine with the 3% knob for a few years now. But M43 is quite correct, you don't need it. I put it on to reduce the severity of dings in reloadable brass against the narrow original handle edge.
There are no stupid questions ........ just stupid people

Re: Charging Handle - WHAT ARE YOU USING?
point of the extended charging handle is to assist with racking, bigger surface area to grab on

Re: Charging Handle - WHAT ARE YOU USING?
Yea i was looking at the 3% ones ill message them directly on FB and see if they still doing them.
@M43 I must have a rather rough finished T-56 then, Rifle in my right hand i reload with my left hand and then tilt the rifle to the left and bring my arm over the top to rack with my LH palm.
