Thanks to all that fought this, spent their time and money.

Bit of a bloody nose, but forward we go.

Good luck to those who have expired licenses.

Default Martin Hood release on ruling

    Just got this message:

The Constitutional Court has declared Section 24 and 28 constitutional with no provision for late applications. We recommend you make use of amnesty when declared. MJ HOOD & ASSOCIATES ATTORNEYS 011 234 7520

It means (from my pleb understanding) that if you are late in submitting, you'd better ask very nicely for a pardon and the chance to hand it in anyway.

Does it not simply mean that if you did not apply in time you are in illegal possession of said firearm?

Nope and this was the last part of the road, now its all over, no more appeals or rulings.

As I understand this, basically if you forgot to renew, you now have to hand over your firearms to the SAPS
