A very interesting piece of SA history with a great deal of research done and historical truth.

Having personally lived the life of Richmond on a farm in an area where the "intimate experiences" are now merely suppressed memories of the late 80's and early 90's brings home the writings above.

Being able to remember most of the names of the map and list of "Slayings and attacks on Natal farms" and more so have had a personal association
(lifelong family friends or neighbours at the time)
with each of the names on the left side of the map brings forth the suppressed memories of the forgotten era.

Not only was it farmers who suffered at the "hands of others" but also a great deal of innocent people caught up in the political crossfire in surrounding rural areas and settlement locations.
