Re: EDC Belt
I used an Army Ant belt for a while. It's not very rigid, but it is comfortable, affordable and comes in two versions (with a buckle or the "EDC" one with velco, and in black or brown).
Currently using a CR Speed EDC belt. My first belt with no buckle and I'm enjoying it. Very rigid and quite easy to put on and off with the velcro.
Downside is that it looks like a gun belt, so if you tuck your shirt in then you should look elsewhere for something more normal looking (like a Ross leather belt or Looper).

Re: EDC Belt
I use a Army ant gear belt bought from Dave Sheer at work (dress code semi formal) and I have no complaints with it. Comes in black and brown and at a price of just under R400 it’s well worth it

Re: EDC Belt
I also use the CR Speed belt almost everyday. Depending on your dress code, you might need something with a buckle and leather.
