Re: EDC Belt
Which would you personally recommend between the Graith and the BadgerX?

Re: EDC Belt
Will do pics once the BadgerX is in. My BadgerX is pre-production.
BadgerX is stiffer and thinner than the Graith. The BadgerX is constructed with a single 1.5” wide and 3mm thick layer of reinforced high grade scuba webbing with an overlay of 1mm thick and 1” wide high guality webbing.
The Graith is constructed with 3 layers of webbing - middle layer of non-reinforced (imo) scuba webbing and a inner and outer layer of thin webbing and 4 rows of stitching which ads to the integrity of the construction of the layers.
Imo the BadgerX has a very slightly flatter profile in buckle/clip area than the Graith but it is minimal so I would not let that make me choose the one over the other.
Graith is more pliable.
Both give sufficient support for AIWB and IWB. Both are 1.5” wide.
Graith works with velcro for adjustment and on and off.
BadgerX works with velcro for adjustment and a hook clip for on and off.
Both are designed for ease of threading through belt loops and they thread easily through standard sized jeans belt loops.
I have used the BadgerX for about 6 weeks and just got the Graith so I do not want to compare on wear characteristics.
Both are very comfy.Last edited by DS; 08-07-2018 at 11:48.

Re: EDC Belt
The Graith is 4.5mm.
The BadgerX is 3mm. On the overlap it is 5mm. I wear mine with overlap on my gun side to give extra thickness for the holster clip to hook better.
Please see the amendment on the BadgerX construction in my #33 post.
I will post some phone pics on the Hailstorm Facebook page of the pre-production BadgerX. The BadgerX is very low profile and especially so in the buckle area - I hope pics do that justice.Last edited by DS; 08-07-2018 at 11:48.
