Default Holosun HS403 vs Sig Sauer Romeo 5 vs Vortex Crossfire

All within a similar price range. Will be on an AR15. What would you choose and why?

1st choice - Vortex warranty... If it's needed.
2nd - Holosun great reviews from 99% of users in the USA
3rd - Sig, I don't know much about this one but there are rumors that it's made for Sig by Holosun.

Both those options are around 50% higher in price than what the OP listed as options, but agreed if the budget can stretch they are good options.

That said, out of those 3 options I would personally lean towards the Sig Romeo 5. It is manufactured by Holosun for Sig but uses the same internals as the 500 series Holosun. So compared with the 403 Holosun it is slightly newer tech (or at least based on their most current model). I personally am not a fan of the Cortex Crossfire, the sample I had didn't have a dot, more so a blob.

As a side note. I've had a 403GU on my 5.56 for 3ish years and it's never lost zero, nor have I had to replace the battery as yet. Would I take it to war? No, but for my sporting use its been perfect.

I bought the holosun HS403B and I'm very happy with it. I can't comment on the comparison but I'm very happy with this dot

I have been running a Holosun 403a for about 3 years now. It's done time on my 223 AR, my 9mm AR and now lives on a shotgun. It hasn't missed a beat. I now run a 510c on my 9mm AR and a 507c on my Shadow for carry optics. I have become a big Holosun fan.

They may not have the pedigree of an Aimpoint or Eotech but mine have never let me down and I shoot them a lot.
