I carried a CZ75 in the 90s for about 3 years and traded it in 97 for a Glock 17 which I still have. Weight was the issue. Still miss it as it was a pleasure to shoot.

I EDC’d an all metal CZ85B for over 10yrs, cocked and locked. It’s 100%, possible but once you carry a plastic gun you’ll wonder why you never did it from the get go, 500g makes a big difference :D
A sturdy belt and decent holster is a must.Don’t take life too seriously, no one gets out alive.

Had a look at an army ant belt, looks decent, will also look at maybe a leather holster to minimise scuffing..

Re: so who edc a cz 75
My first gun was a CZ75 (pre-B) with matt blued finish. Great gun and loved it a lot. Carried it every day everywhere I went, including on campus. Not knowing any better, I thought it was the best EDC gun ever. I did have to do corrosion protection very regularly as my sweat would creep in under the grips etc. and cause rust. Then I bumped into an ugly, 400g lighter, more rust resistant pistol with the same capacity and a lot less sharp edges and protrusions. It did not take too long for the well loved CZ to move on to family member. Could not let it go completely. It is still going strong.
They are excellent guns and a pleasure to shoot. My current favourite sports pistol is a 75-based pistol with some upgrades. I am just glad I don't have to EDC it.

Re: so who edc a cz 75
Well, due too personal circumstances i am glad that i got hold of this mint CZ 75,in the progess now to get it licensed & Police competenced now this week..it is painfull but worth the whole process i guess,if all goes well i might settle for something smaller to EDC later on well see,it is an awesome FA like you said, deserves it reputation on Google,You-Tube etc as it goes,so many has been said & copies of it being made since introduction in '75,,not only that it has an full Pedigree, even an Full-Automatic version if you like & afford to get here?? i doubt, will have too clean & protect this FA in the meantime once i get hold of it,after all it has a good purpose which we all have in mind to EDC,to care & protect, wouldn't mind to get it sported out only if there is an back up EDC one later, only time will tell..
