    Default GOSA Fund Raiser

So I saw on the Facebook group that GOSA is having a fund raiser, the details as per the Facebook post:

    https://www.facebook.com/groups/guno...6659959130087/

    Morning gun owners,
We are still awaiting feedback from the SAPS. The FDD have sent an urgent communication this morning to establish what the police’s motives are, and whether or not they intend in cooperating to solve the problem. As they have promised us they would do.
That borne in mind, the FDD have investigated several options regarding interdicting the police from confiscating private property. This will be a substantial legal challenge in itself. We will be going after relicencing itself as the main part of the application, as well as getting the court to force the registrar to extend the period of validity of currently expired licences in the interim.
The poll we ran last week received only just over 3000 responses indicating support for a GOSA legal challenge against relicencing. We have a modest goal of R600 000 to start off with. If each of those 3000 people provide R200, we meet our goal.
Ladies, gentlemen, and others: it is now up to you to decide whether or not we should proceed with this endeavour. The banking details are provided below. If we do not meet our target, we will have to use those funds for smaller legal work in order to challenge inefficiencies in the system. Since that will be the long-term result of not grabbing the bull by the horns now.
    Thank you all in advance.
    Gideon

Yeah after reading all my new posts and not seeing something about this, I thought I'd take a chance and post it here also, as it effects all of us and not just GOSA members.

In short no, they have asked tho, popi request. By SAPS wiped their ars3s, bout all. Besides, their database is nowhere near accurate or up to date. Mainly as SAPS staff could not be arsed about capturing on the system. Its a paper mountain, with little on the system....
