Hey Eraser, any word yet? i called yesterday and was advised it would be 19 working days so im hoping to get word on Monday

WRT my current app. Again I phoned on tuesday and it was still only recieved, still has to go to crc and tge back for consideration. Guy told me to phone back in 3weeks. Ill be phoning again on tuesday.

The days they tell you can mean anything. Last time I phoned for my comp app, the guy also told me n few more weeks and 10 minutes later it was approved.
We just have to take it as it comes, as they do have 90 working days to get it done.

Hi. I submitted my compentency 7th of May.. its been at final consideration for the last 3 weeks.. bought my 19x on sunday to get the next step started..hopefully lisencing goes faster..

I submitted my app for handgun/shotgun/carbine competence on the 24 April at the police station. Think the guy leave it somewhere unattended for a while. Got my first sms " your competency is receiving attention at the DFO" on 16 May, and second sms that it is approved on 17 August. So was 3 months after first sms.

The license app was handed in on 23 Aug and received same day sms, saying receiving attention at the DFO, so will see how long I will wait.

I also need to do a further competency for rifle, but wait for the training guy for the certificate before I can submit it.
