How is the league shoot different to a club shoot?

More stages (8 minimum if I remember correctly), and you get more points toward DSS status. Ammo should preferably be chronographed if possible, and the SOs shouldn’t be offering coaching advice to the shooters, like you get with a club shoot.

Also, if you come first in your division and classification and beat 9 other shooters in the same division and classification, you will earn a match promotion to a higher classification.

^ Thanks for this. Being a noob, and not having attended club shoots yet, it would probably be better to get some of those under my belt first, especially seeing that coaching would be a great help to me at this stage.

For sure. And you also need to have attended a few club shoots before you may shoot a league (again, if I remember correctly).

same here, even with a FP, I still got gold

Most fun was had with Paul SO'ing our squad, and every-time I got a PE he would explain why (which I greatly appreciated) and then say "also, your green licence is still valid!"..
