    Crisis Bleeding Control Control Class - Sat 21 June 2018



    Biggest eye-opener in the training? When the arterial blood starts spraying after bad things happen, nobody will be there to help, nobody can stop it but you. Nobody, but, you. Eyes get wide as reality sinks in
    No previous medical training needed. One-and-a-half to two hours duration.
    Course contents:
    Recognising life-threatening bleeds;
    Bleed-stopping improvisation;
    Reaction planning;
    Combat Application Tourniquet (CAT), as used by the US military;
    Special Operations Forces tourniquet (SOF-TT), US special forces;
    Quickclot haemostatic dressing;
    SWAT-T pressure bandage/tourniquet;
    Wound packing;
    Shock; and,
    much more.

    The Committee on Trauma,
    Stop the Bleed Campaign.

    Only R300 per head
    Includes snacks, coffee, Course Certificate and course material.

    We can accommodate 10 Pupils per Slot
    1st Slot - 08:30 - 10:00
    2nd Slot - 10:00 - 12:00
    and can do a 3rd slot (12:30 - 14:00) if the the other two are fully booked.

    I always dreamed about being a cardiac surgeon, could this be my first step in that direction? Haha LoL, no I would just like to do it ic(my)e.
