Norinco Type 56 Folding Stock
Hi all, I have a Norico Type 56 with folding stock. Is it possible to get wood rear and front stocks for it? (it has the bakelite stocks at the moment). I would like to alternate between folding and wood stock.

Have a look at the Dave Sheer web site. There you get an idea of what is readily available in SA.

Re: Norinco Type 56 Folding Stock
The side-folder has very limited options. One possibility is to cut the stock off the hinge kuckle and weld an adaptor on to take a better stock. Another is to add a recoil pad and cheek piece to make it more comfortable.
The under-folder was made for those guys who shoot from the overhead position while running in the oposite direction...

Re: Norinco Type 56 Folding Stock
A-R the 56-1 is not that bad at all to shoot properly. A bit if cement in your coffee boet!
