.223 Trainer?
Is anyone currently running a .223 trainer bolt action?
What is your setup, why did you decide to go that route?
I would like to have a practical plinker in .223 for training the necessaries in the 50-350m range.
I have a .22lr I currently use to practice hunting positions with, but it gets sketchy at 100m. Would serve nicely as a varmint destroyer on the odd occasion.
The best value for money I can think of, would probably be a Howa (1-9") with a decent scope, but then again the Hogue might have to be replaced putting the howa in Tikka price range.
Any advice from the more experienced?

Re: .223 Trainer?
With a few cheap mods you can get a lot from a Hogue, both my Howa's will still run them for a long time.
If you want to shoot the really long bullets you might want to look at the Tikka with 1 in 8" twist.

Re: .223 Trainer?
I would love to get a Howa mini action .223 for my boys in a few years. 20" semi bull barrel version.
