    Default Looking for diving cylinder

    Anybody know where I can get a second hand cylinder to use for fulling a Sumatra 2500. The full length rifle?

    Best bet is to buy a second hand one from a dive shop. Alternatively head on over airrifle.co.za . Someone will have one up for sale.

    There is guy on Gumtree in Parow North who deals only in this. You will spot him easy on there.
    He Hydro en visuals before you receive.

    Try not to buy Alu at all. Get a steel.
    They are more difficult to find but 1st prize is a steel 10L 300bar, 2nd place 6L 300bar. 3rd place 12l 220 bar.
    And not at any place on list any Alu bottle.

    Why do you say that a steel is better.

    For diving the only pro a steel has over an aluminum is that it is smaller (slightly) for the same volume and always negativly buoyant.

    For out of water usage the aluminum is lighter anc less prone to corrosion which makes it a better option in my mind.
