There is an internal fight every time I open the safe before a bushveld hunting trip and then I load two rifles, the 223 and the 9.3. The 223 with 53gr Barnes TSX bullets is absolutely lethal for anything up to and including Impala. It helps that the rifle is very accurate making shot placement a breeze and of course it weighs as much as a .22 so carrying it all day is a pleasure.

But then I get to the farm and 9/10 times I leave the 223 and take the 9.3 because it just works for everything I can afford. From any angle I can get to the vitals of any animal on my list. Recently my uncle wounded a gemsbok on a frontal shot, my cousin was backing him up with my 9.3 and as the cow was running away he planted her with a shot that penetrated through the rump all the way into the chest cavity at a distance of 150M(He can shoot really, really well).

Be wary of buying a 9.3 or 375 the other rifles in your safe will gather dust, especially if you mainly hunt in bushveld conditions.
