Holster options to consider for fishing trip
Hi guys
I will be spending a few days in and around Komatiepoort, both on land and in a boat. I have heard that the area is not the safest and would like to carry while catching loads of fish. I need a holster that I can use for this purpose and not necessarily also for general EDC.
Obviously fishing comes with its fair share of movement and activity, including "butt in air" to revive and release the fish.
I have read on similar threads that belly bands seem to be fairly popular for sport related carry. Together with a kydex holster. Would this be the best option?
9mm striker fired compact pistol.
I'd appreciate any advise.

Re: Holster options to consider for fishing trip
I just use my Fobus OWB holster when hunting and fishing as generally I don't have to worry too much regarding printing as I am with friends who knows I carry. I don't know if your situation is the same but the Fobus is probably the most comfy when it comes to moving about etc etc.

For bending over a lot, AIWB is the most invisible way to carry.

For that I use one of these...

Of course still as concealed as possible, at least with a shirt over it.

Thanks for the advice.
I will be with people I don't know well or at all and will also be moving about in public spaces, so concealability is key.

Carry like you usually carry.
It is possible to carry AIWB and bend if your body allows for it - the trick is to bend slightly sideways.
If you are slightly better isolated than the skinier okes bending can be troublesome. In that case IWB just behind the hip can work well.
