FN509
When comparing the FN509 to other compact handguns, how good is it. I have to admit I like the flexibility and the way to attach sights but I find the barrel a bit short at 4". Are there any similar handguns that make more sense for sport shooting not SD.

Why a compact? If you want the full length barrel for sport go fullsize pistol.
I've never seen anything FN in SA bar a few guns here and there.
Similar to the 509, the G19/G17/M&P/P10 would all make more sense.
P09/CZ75/Shadow/GP Xcalibre etc ?
