    70/35 means a 70mm or 2 3/4 inch chamber and a 35 gram shot charge and is safe in any gun with 70 mm chambers
    70mm are by far the most common shells encountered in SA.
    75 mm or 3 inch magnums are quite common in the USA but I have very seldom seen them here.

    Now that would also depends what chokes you have in your gun (cylinder fine, but wouldn’t run slugs through choked barrels)

    Chamber (as long as it’s designed for 70mm cartridges) should be fine

    Slugs are fine in a choked barrel.
