    Update : Card collected 1-03-2019

    SMS received today. Appeal was successful

    Dates as per the sms's and not handed in. The handed in dates differ with about two weeks prior.
    Applied : 03 Aug 2018
    Refused : 25 Oct 2018
    Appeal : 11 Dec 2018
    Appeal successful : 14 Feb 2019

    Lets hope all goes well to the rest of you. Now we wait for the card to be issued and that might take a while too.

    Ok so I'm emailing my appeal but my mails return, my attachments is too big or their mailboxes too small.
    How did you email your appeals? Zip all files? Multiple mails?

    That email address hasn't worked in years. Rather send by registered post (SA PO) or send by courier.

    "An appeal must be submitted to the Appeal Board by hand, facsimile or by post and must
    be addressed to the Chairperson of the Appeal Board at the following addresses or numbers -

    Postal address: Private Bag X811, Pretoria, 0001;

    Physical address: Ground Floor, Veritas Building, Volkstem Avenue, Pretoria;

    Facsimile address: (012) 353 6211;"

    If your original file is in Ms word or Excel, download a PDF Creator like NitroPdf.
    It sets up like a virtual printer and as soon as you click print it prints out to Pdf. Nice and small file size

    You have to keep the mail size below 2Mb. I ended up breaking mine up into 4 emails if I remember correctly.

    Does your DFO need to fill out anything on your appeal SAPS530 form?
