Stupid Questions...
Can we have a thread like this?
I will go first;
I know you will be ok if in a self defence situation with your sport shooting handgun.
Will you be ok if you drive around with say your shotgun or carbine and got involved in a shooting where your life is in danger?
I am thinking in how will you explain driving around, say JHB CBD for work, and knowing its such a dangerous area, you take the shotgun or carbine with?

Re: Stupid Questions...
Shotgun in theory yes, carbine would be more difficult to explain unless you were on the way to the range. You also need a cover and if memory serves me right you cannot have the carbine loaded in the car.

Re: Stupid Questions...
What's the difference between your MSR and 1911 if both are licensed under Sec16 in the eyes of the law?

Why would you need to explain having it with you?

Re: Stupid Questions...
Please don't do this.
People that want to drive around with SLR's should join the Police, security company or make use of Sec14 and get their SLR that way.

Just because it’s legal does not make it a good idea.
