The rifle is a Marlin XS7. The scope came with the rifle. a 3x9 I think. Might be a Bushnell. Not a great scope but I seem to be able to shoot with it and I won't be attempting shots of more than 150m at the longest! I might upgrade next year because they will be making the National Hunting licence a lot less expensive and I might go to the Alps and Corsice for mouflon and chamois. Will check.
The bullets were Winchester Super X 180gr.
They seemed to have worked very well. The shot didn't go exactly where I wanted but it was moving a quite a clip.
