    Question Estimate values needed

This is not a "for sale" post!

    Good Day All
On recommendations of a moderator, I am posting here, a short list of firearms that belonged to late friend of mine.
His wife needs values for them as she is considering selling them, but is not "au fait" with their relative resell values.
I hope to be able to convince her that it is better to sell privately than to either dump them at a gun shop or surrender them to the SAPS.

    1. Lee Enfield Mk4 #2 sporterised (ex SA Navy) 10 round magazine.
    2. Amedeo Rossi Model 92 SRC .38/.357 Lever action (s/n K074XXX) (saddle ring missing)
    3. Taurus Model 80(?) .38spl Holster wear, slight pitting on left side of frame.
    4. Norinco JW15A 5 Shot Magazine. Gamo VF 3-9 x40 WR Scope

The Lee's stock has been shortened, the upper furniture is removed (possibly still in storage) the barrel is still original length (bayonet lug still evident).
The Taurus looks to have a 3" barrel.

I do have some cell phone pics, if needed to confirm value.

    1. R4500 to R5000. Depending condition.
    2. R7000 to R8000. Cowboy Action guys looking for these.
    3. R2500 to R2000.
    4. R1000 to R1500 Ive seen them go for.

    I will offer second opinion:
    1. R3000 to R3500 due to shortened stock and missing furniture.
    2. R6000 to R7000 due to missing saddle ring.
    3. R1000 to R1500 due to condition.
    4. R1000 to R1500.
If you got a third opinion you would be A for away as you could look at averages.

    These looks about right.
I personally would lower the price on the 303. If it was still in original condition it would have fetched a higher price though.

Look at Classic Arm's adverts. They possibly have the most experience of anyone.

Thanks for the advice re estimated values.
I will get back to my late friends wife to see if I can get her to list them on either Gun Broker or Gun Africa.
Shooty, is there anywhere specific that I should get the Lever Action posted?
