Krico 0.22 magazine
I have a Krico 0.22 LR from 1956.
The 5 round magazine is not loading the rounds and jams sometimes. I have tried cleaning and lubricating the magazine.
I have been advised to purchase a replacement magazine. I can get one in the UK.
Anyone know if a shop in SA sells a Krico straight style magazine?

To my knowledge you should never lube the inside of a mag. What does the mag do? Is the inside of the mag smooth and rust free? How stiff is the spring? Are the mag lips still straight?

K-Mag in Newcastle, KZN manufactures Krico mags (amongst others):

I have used their Mauser .22 and Browning HP mags before and the quality is top notch. Try them before you buy from overseas.

Is it the straight or curved mag?

Straight.
I have compared mine to the photos from K-Mag and mine is different.
Peter from K-Mag has kindly offered to replace the spring in my 5 round magazine so lets see what happens.

I have stretched the magazine spring and mine works fine. Remove all oil from the innards of the mag and then only use graphite to lubricate. You can even use fine sand paper or grinding paste to buff the surfaces that engage.
