AR Sling
Need some advice wrt slings please, I'm looking at getting a 2 point sling for my AR15.
It is a Troy SPC A3 with the TRX2 Rail - https://worldoftroy.com/product/troy-spc-a3/
What attachment clip do I need to secure a sling to the rail in front?
I'm not sure if that rail's holes are Magpul QD compatible for these to work:

Was thinking of getting the MS1 sling.
Would like to buy locally, any idea of who will have stock on these?

Re: AR Sling
I suspect you want a Keymod QD mount; Troy's docs don't seem to mention anything other than Keymod in relation to that rail.
Last time I was looking, Hailstorm had the MS1 and various adapters, though that was some time back.

Re: AR Sling
Both those QD sling Swivels would work with any QD Mount. I'm not sure of the those holes in the forend are for QD mounts.
This is the one I used on my forend: https://www.brownells.com/shooting-a...prod84155.aspx
Mounted to a QD Mount on the sling.

Re: AR Sling
Yep, seems it isn't a QD mount if you go by this video.

Re: AR Sling
Hi,
My primary occupation is still at Ase Utra sound suppressors, from where some of the members reading the forums may remember me from.
Also a part owner for several years at Treaper Ltd.
Here is another alternative, the Recon sling from us:
https://www.3hgr.fi/en/verkkokauppa/tuotteet/3hgr-recon
- Quality materials with IR protection
- Does not absorb water in the same way as slings that utilize cotton in the sling material. So very good feature from the arctic to the jungles.
- Very good pricing for the quality
Great sling overall, even compared to the BFG VCAS slings, which I have personally used for many years.
Best Regards!

Re: AR Sling
Hi Tuukka.
Is this a 2 point sling with quick adjustment? If yes... Do you know who stocks them in SA or when we may see them here?
I'm looking for a good quick adjust 2 point sling...

Yes, it is an adjustable 2 point sling.
Our products can be inquired from Savuti Arms.
Best Regards!

Re: AR Sling
If you're going to import, look at Blue Force Gear.
