Re: Left Hand 416 Rigby
Still waiting for the rifle to be blued for a second time. Rear sight came loose when they drifted express sight in.
Now that the rifle is nearly complete, I found a Zavasta K98 left hand action on Humansdorp Co-op for R10 300. Guess who will I ring later today?

Re: Left Hand 416 Rigby
It looks good, like a no nonsense work rifle. Let us know how it shoots.

Re: Left Hand 416 Rigby
Thats exactly what I intended it to be. I have shot 10 shots with it in the not blued form. Recoil was milder than expected by myself- I have never shot anything bigger than a 450/577MH which do a 450 grain at 1500fps.
I will report back once I had a proper range session with it in the new year.

Re: Left Hand 416 Rigby
So three weeks before three years after this dream has passed, the license have been approved.
I am waiting on SAPS to print the piece of plastic that will allow me to bring this Finnish-South-African cross-Bred home for some serious shooting! My thanks for all your comments and advise in this adventure.
My lioness is waiting at Stella to meet her fate in the Autumn of 2022.
