Geez, have we all been so brainwashed by the "full auto is baaaad mkaaay"
Cos I like to own one should be only the reason

There's legitimate ones in the US , registered and everything.

I wouldn't trust a Wish or Alibaba one not to mess my gun up

My question related specifically to practical use. I have no desire to own such. I don’t see it as anything more than an ammo wasting novelty. I would much rather train for gain than play with that. But you are both correct.

I heard from someone that he ordered one (full auto switch was the name if I recall correctly) off of wish and is "hoping" that it arrives. I hope not for his sake. I cant understand why someone would pay 10k for a modern handgun only to add a $3 attachment that could possibly cost more damages to the FA and himself.

Apparently it was designed for shield bearers so that they could have a bit more "firepower" while only being able to use one hand. Fired in short bursts, not just sprayed everywhere.
