Add Ruger to your revolver list however, G43, same ammo as what you carry now and a heck of a lot more concealable than any revolver bar miniature .22s.

Keep the shotgun. One day you might regret this decision and then have to go through licencing all over again to acquire another shotgun. Don't do it

As for the snubby a S&W would be first choice. Taurus second. A few months ago I saw two mint condition S&W snubbies at L.A.Arms in Pretoria for about R2500 each. Might be worth it to give them a call.

Also there is quite a few snubbies on the classic arms auction coming up and they normally go for cheap

    2nd choice - Taurus 85

Best bet would be to go physically to smaller gun shops and see what they have (unless you have done that already)
I would have recommended Astra. Opinions will vary ;-)

My own experience of Astra vs Taurus revolvers is that the Astras are better made that the Taurus (or Rossi), with the advantage of being 6 shot in the case of the snubbie.

S&W obviously good choice too, but the OP mentioned "cheap", and Astra would be cheaper than S&W. First prize would be the "INOX" Stainless Steel version.

I would replace one of those 3 spare mags with a med kit if you don't already have one.
