    JSB- match grade pellets, flat nosed, extremely accurate, consistent weight. Used by SA Protea team, at least when I was in that.

    Thanks folks. It seems that I need to do some upgrades. First off a new spring and a proper scope - I got the rifle without front sight and only half of the back sight.

    After the current stock of pellets are gone I will get some accurate pellets as well.

    If I were you I would also investigate rather replacing the spring with a piston

    Not worth the R150 you spend on them. They are inconsistent,a lot of the time skirts are damaged out the box. Buy JSB's, you wont be disappointed.

    I quite liked Marksman pellets back in the day. Haven't dealt with them in a while. Radius was my choice back then though. These days we shoot Diabolo Boxers or similar. They're reliable and consistent.

    @BandK & RAGE:

    You lost me there. Is a JSB a specific type of piston, or does it refer to a pellet brand?

    Where does one shop for air rifle pistons?

    JSB is a pellet brand. They referring to gas rams. I know Nicholas Yale does them, not sure who else locally does them.

    Apologies... gas ram was what I was referring to

    JSB or H&N only two pellet brands to consider for airrifles.

    Jsb is the brand of pellets most of the airrifle crowd use. Best quality control. And yes, if you can afford to do the gas ram do it.
