    I guess it could make things quite tricky. I had in mind a point shooting approach thinking that one would be shooting over no more than 10 meters. Probably more like 5 or less.

    I have Warren figure 8 tritium on my 26. Front sight has a tritium tube and the back sight has a dot below the sight groove (if that makes sense) which reflects any ambient light quite nicely.

    I'm happy with them.

    Nope. Not sure what exactly it is. Looks metallic. Works in reflecting ambient light.

    At what distance? I'd bet you're not gonna miss an A4 at 5-10m if your front sight is centered on the paper even if your rear sights are not lined up

    ETA: I remember seeing this demonstrated on Youtube by a respected trainer in the US, can't recall his name now

    Good point. A tritium front and blacked out rear is probably very workable.
