Thanks for the advice guys. I will check out the CZs too

I like that striker gadget device very clever. Havent seen any locally though. I been looking at the PX4 and I saw a video where Ernst Langdon recommends holstering with thumb on hammer on the PX4 for extra safety ensuring the hammer won't catch maybe on something and be pulled back. This gadget for Glock is a similar safety idea with thumb on the back so the trigger cant press if it catches something on entering the holster and when you draw the gun it doesn't come into play at all. I like this gadget and this would set my mind at ease with Glocks.

I have some feedback- in the past I trained on the Glock 17 and it was ok a good firearm but I wasn't mad about it who knows why. I went to the range now and shot side by side the Glock 19 and CZ P10. Wow the P10 is awesome, I'd rather get that than the Glock but I guess it is similar safety wise to a Glock. And it may be hard to obtain that little gadget for a Glock (I was eyeing the Glock 26 too for concealed carry).

However I see the CZ P07 and it looks awesome. Would love to shoot this. It seems the perfect gun for me- modern and feel-wise it looks similar to the CZ P10 but it has that hammer which makes me happy. However it is larger than the CZ P10- does P07 come in a compact version? It doesn't seem so on CZ's website. A compact version would be ideal for someone like me it seems.

The P07 IS the compact version. CZ is rather underrepresented when it comes to smaller guns

The P07 is the compact version of the P09. I was in a similar boat when looking for my first handgun and wanted the Px4 compact but it was too hard to find one with the decocker only. I looked at the P07 but could not get used to the short slide during manipulations. I like the P10c but it seems a bit big for my body. Ultimately I went with a glock 19 gen 5 as a jack of all for carry and fun on the range. If you do your part I don't see a striker fired gun being any more dangerous than a hammer fired model.

Interesting and looks good. I still am reluctant to interfere with the Glock design with "gadgets".
An alternative will be this :
    https://www.usacarry.com/glock-manua...inolli-custom/

    https://www.cominolli.com/product-page/msk

Use it don't use it , insert it , remove it Glock remains solid and relatively intact. ( considering all the frame mods done for looks the small frame cut is nothing.
I believe they are locally represented as well. I have one on my G29.

A bit off topic, but maybe relevant.

When EDC’ing how many times and in what manner do you guys holster your EDC handgun in a day. i.e when AIWB do you put gun in holster and then put the rig IWB?

The SCD is imo the only safety upgrade worthy of a Glock.

Remove entire holster with gun, when removing pants and vice versa

They seem to have caught up with their backlog. They had a 6 week waiting time or something last time I checked.
