The Ruger No1 Thread
Can’t believe this thread doesn’t exist yet.
Just got my first one.
Need. More. No. 1’s!
Who else loves them?
Regards,
Wesley

Re: The Ruger No1 Thread
Don't own one (yet ) but would love to have one in a low recoil calibre, something like 222, 22 Hornet, 204 Ruger or maybe 6x45 or 7,62x39.
Their weight always surprises me - they feel heavier than they look.
I know that once the Mrs has handled and shot one there will be one on her name very soon.

I had one in 300wm for a while but sold it...silly silly...
Would love to get one in 458wm and bore it out to 458 3" Express!

Re: The Ruger No1 Thread
Go for it Marshy. There's one in Jhbg already and the owner (he's here on Gunsite) swears by it. When you do it I can supply once-fired PMP and/or Stewart cases.
