Very interesting ! 53% of South Africans believe that most people are killed by firearms – but the reality is that knives make up the most (47%) deaths, with only 16% of murders attributed to guns.

Yeah, seems GFSA is doing a great job in spreading the false gospel that guns kill more people in SA... I would like to know how much of the 16% is murder, and how much is suicide. I would wager a bet that of that 16%, more will be suicide than murder. I would also like to see how much of the 16% of murders using guns, was committed with LEGAL guns, and what percentage using STOLEN or otherwise illegal firearms...

I firmly believe that a VERY SMALL percentage of murders involving guns, are actually committed with LEGALY OWNED firearms.

Maybe GFSA should change their name and their mandate to KFSA (Knife Free SA), or wait! Even better! MBTFSA (Mini Bus Taxi Free SA)! This way they will reduce traffic on our roads AND reduce the need for e-Tolls, as well as save the lives of our people since fewer will die from unroadworthy taxis and reckless taxi drivers!!!

Don't let them start on knives too. Go to the heart of the murderer. No matter what means they use.

I am pretty sure you will find it more than 47% of killings are by a sharp instrument in SA.

What about old age, ban that too.
Doctors with pills and knives, ban them.
Dear lord, stupidity should be eradicated first.
