I wonder why professionals who shoot guns for a living don't wear R100/R200/R300/R400 etc ballistic eyewear. What do they know that we do not know?

For me personally, my Oakley range glasses are multi purpose. I use them for cycling, work (need PPE for splicing and/or site surveys) and pew pew.
Would they stop/deflect a direct hit at 1000+ FPS? No.
Would they stop/deflect a ricochet and protect my eyes? Definitely.
And one day when I'm big and I earn Zuma dollars, I might swap out the lenses. For now, they work just fine.
