Default Processing Speeds on Dept 29 and Normal Dealer ransfers.

Anyone have average times on following.

A firearm that is showing in Dept 29 to dealer stock.
After dealer submits 350's to local SAPS.

    And

A firearm from 1 dealer stock to another. Example Wholesaler to Dealer.
After dealer submits 350's to local SAPS.

    Also following this.

I purchased a FA on 22 November from a gun shop. Didn't follow up too much as they did say they need a week or 2 maximum for transferring.
This gave me time to get my motivations together and certified etc, then I went on leave.
Returned on Monday and it was my first priority to follow up on my new FDE coloured plastic pistol.

The reply email roughly says - "SAPS350 pistol is still on import agencies name. Did get a department 29 import permit on the import agencies name. Sorry because the CFR was closed but will let you know."

30 working days - hope it is not too much longer.

Shop got stock of the firearms on the 1st Oct, I went in on the 3rd to pay and collect forms. Was told to give it a week for the 350 to be processed by the GS. Handed in my app on the 15th and it was transferred from importer to dealer stock

    Unfortunately, String length = ?
Dept - 3 weeks from FA purchase, can’t say when it was originally handed in.

Then from there another 2.5 to show on dealer purchased from.

All depends on what CFR feel like doing today.

And just because it is corrected today, does not mean it will not revert today/tomorrow/next week/next month.

I mean we have had batches of licences for RENEWAL after 5 years where the damned guns are all the way back on the importers' stock!

I purchased 2 new Sako Rifles in November. They came down from importer to dealer.
Who early December gave me 271 forms with 350's.

But the 1 is on Importer name and the other Dept 29.

Dealer said must give them a month. This should sort out the dealer to dealer 1.
But Dept 29 seems to be a guess.

    Thanks for feedback so far.

Took me 4 months to get a gun from Gov 29 to the final dealer's stock. Real ball ache. Could have had that licence in that time
