Ask to be in the same squad, you can then help one another should more than 3 mags not be enough. Make sure the RO/scorer knows you are sharing mags so that you and your buddy do not shoot directly after one another.

The range is off the r56 to Richmond/Ixopo . Just after Thornville . Its a left turn onto a gravel road ( i remember a sign for adventure sport and a hotel but cant seem to remember exact details) .

Ihawu is in Pinetown , they are the right guys to contact with regards to ipsc at Mapstone range .

Aha THAT dirt road. My first and only visit to Mapstone, I got lost looking for the range and tried to make up time by driving fast on the dirt road. I nearly did not make that 90deg turn. Be warned.

Did my first official shoot on Saturday....what an absolute blast ....the biggest course was 32 rounds so I was sorted for mags... as the one dude said having a gun in your safe doesn't mean your going to effectively protect your family if you don't ever practice with it

Great, that's where I started my sport shooting career; back in 1977. I hope you have just as much fun and fulfillment as I had and still have!
