Standing in one place, no intentional reloads and very simple rules, SC is not a bad place to start if you can afford the 300-500 round count.

Otherwise IPSC would be the place to go IMO

Going to give SC a try this year. Convinced a work colleague to join me.

Ok i see Kraaifiontein is having a 3-Gun Shoot in Jan. Will that be a good place to start ???

What gear will i be needing to do the shoot ???

Ive got the 3 weapons, holster for gun, glasses, ear protection, ammo for HG ,ammo for SLR not sure what ammo i must have for Shotgun.

Is magazine holster necessary for this shoot???

    Anything i,ve missed ??

    Thanks

If you talk about 26/27 Jan, please note it is a Ipsc league and only for Ipsc members to enter. What is nice to know about Kraaifontein is that after every monthly club handgun champs in the morning, there is either a SG, rifle or Mini rifle shoot in the afternoon.
