SLIP2000 Lubes
Latest update from Slip re shipping
I checked with my freight company and they said the embargo has been lifted , however, there is such a backlog into Johannesburg that we cannot get a confirmation of shipment for at least a week.

Re: SLIP2000 Lubes
Also on the order is
Carbon Killer
Gun Lube
EWL 30 (Extreme Weapons Lube heavy)
EWG Grease in syringe applicator
Copper Cutter
Carbine Bolt / piston cleaner
This an exploratory order to see what shooters need and are interested in - unpredictable at the best of times.Last edited by DS; 13-07-2010 at 16:10.

Re: SLIP2000 Lubes
I see the Slip2000 products were mentioned in yesterdays issue of The Tactical Wire.
Any news on arrival dates Khumba?

Re: SLIP2000 Lubes
Cool news!
A bit of advice please:
I'm looking for a decent cleaner and lubricant for the M&P9mm.
There's a huge product range to choose from.
What would you suggest for:
1:cleaning the gun thoroughly
2: greasing it for use
Thanks

Re: SLIP2000 Lubes
Howzit Prodigal,
Did you not come right with the MPRO7. As I mentioned to you, I got hold of it and the cleaner is very good. But for lubing, I'd rather wait for the slip2000...I heard it's good. Khumba also had some Wilson grease some time back and that stuff is brilliant.
cheers

Re: SLIP2000 Lubes
Use the Gun Lube for lubing - in summer add a bit of the EWG grease from the syringe applicator.
For cleaning use the Carbon Killer on the barrel and inside slide where carbon deposits collect and/or Copper Cutter for the barrel bore if you shoot CMJs or FMJs. If you shoot lead use lead remover - Slip does not make a dedicated lead remover - I use Scotch goldi locks copper pot scrubber strands wrapped around a brass brush to remove lead - easy and clean.
For general cleaning of the frame and trigger parts I use Birchwood Casey Gun Scrubber aerosol spray cleaner.

Re: SLIP2000 Lubes
Howzit Deon,
Do you still have more of the Wilson grease? If you do, I'd like to fetch but would rather wait for the slip2000 shipment then I can fetch both. Thanks.
regards,
MM
