Newbie awkwardly greets...

Hi, my name is Mieke. I'm 22. I have always loved weapons. I've been collecting knives and shooting guns for as long as I can remember. I don't have my own 'serious firearms', although I've handled a fair amount of them over the years.

I guess my dream rifle would be a classic Dragunov SVD. Which is kinda random, but yeah.

I'll probably not get that one soon, or any rifle for that matter. I feel like I never have the time to shoot anymore. And there's always so much drama these days...

I used to compete in high school. Was a good ol' member of SANSSU and had the priviledge of competing at the South African championships for a few years.

I might be looking to sell my MPR sporter air rifle sometime in the future. There's a part of me that really doesn't want to, but on the other side, I don't feel like it's fair to just have the MPR gather dust in a safe for years and years for the sake of saying I used to compete. Tug of war, I tell you.

And...I'm still figuring out how this site works haha.

I'm also still a newbie on this forum and also still trying to figure out everything on this forum....one thing is for sure there is a wealth of information and i am learning a lot...reading everyday new subjects(my wife gets a bit annoyed with me now cause i am spending to much time reading on forum)
