I received my competency in July last year, and only got a printout from the DFO. No mention of a card and I still haven't been notified of a card that was printed.

Apparently the memo said "print competency cards for security guards" - because they are required to carry the competency with them. Some asshole then heard "print competency cards", and now we have a cluster fuck
