Default Firing a Daisy in you yard

    Hello

Are you allowed to fire a Daisy bb rifle in your yard?

Is it considered an air rifle.

Almost everywhere it's a no no, but almost no one will make an issue if you are carefull and don't shoot their pet birds or racing pigeons.

I am very wary in shooting any air rifle in my yard. Your friendly neighbour becomes your enemy and suddenly you are reported and possibly lose all your firearms.

If your going to. Make sure you have decent backstop for Daisy. Even Cardboard box with old towel in.

Airrifles shoot lead. So pellet flat when it hits hard target like wall.

BB is steel or copper depending which you buy. They ricochet alot when they hit something hard. So eye protection very important.

Also you can re use steel bb's.

Parents home had several dings when i was growing up from ricochet steel bb's

    In a suburb, No.

Is it considered an air rifle? Yes

Having just bought my son one, I am surprised at how loud they are. Its louder than all my 5.5mm airrifles. You will get your neighbors and possibly the local SAPS's attention.

yeah, my neighbours son had a daisy
he now bought him a c02 9mm replica and a break neck rifle

my issue isnt that they have a huge yard but choose to shoot right by my fence (freaking my dogs out)

but this ballie has taught this kid ZERO safety.

my fear is that if i do try explain the law, or that i don't mind him shooting with a bit of RULES there will be tension

and honestly I've put up with enough shit not to jump the fence.

Also im a bit sick of this kid shooting birds for no reason, my old man would've made me eat it

    Yep.

Unlike the Daisy BB SAA replica I had as a kid which was truly spring driven.

Make an anonymous phone call and say you were walking in the street and saw a kid with a rifle and you dont feel happy about it.
