Re: 90 days....?
Just keep on top of them with complaints. I will post email addresses and phone numbers I encountered after lodging a complaint on Monday. I try not to touch my laptops on weekends and the list is on one.
Letting the CFR get away with bad service will only reinforce their behaviour.

Re: 90 days....?
Hi guys, I am sitting in a similar situation although it's luckily already in consideration for a while now (they keep giving me different dates when I phone). I submitted a section 13 9mm one on 25th of October last year, and received the "receives attention" SMS the same day. Since then I have been phoning every Tuesday to follow up and it's still in consideration since the 24th of Jan (date keeps changing when I phone).
I have phoned twice today to get my weekly update, and unfortunately I could not get through after 30 minutes of holding each time (tried around 09h30 and 14h00 again). I refuse to hold on longer than 30 minutes.
Can I phone these guys as well, just indicating that the normal CFR number is on a death-hold?

Re: 90 days....?
Ya it's definitely the easiest time to call, they're essentially 24 hours from what I gather.
Good luck

Re: 90 days....?
I emailed the firearms and the complaints addresses on 15 Feb and have not had any reply. Sent it to all the above as well. My app has been in consideration for most of this year now. On 104 working days already.

Re: 90 days....?
Service at the cfr is so bad getting hold of any of them is always difficult. Try Col Seroka - serokam@saps.gov.za - 012 353 6061. She phoned me this morning with regards to my complaint about lack of service from Col Simelane.
