    Default Freight forwarders

Hey guys, One of my friends want to import a boyds stock for his rifle from the USA. The shop he will be buying from does not ship to SA so he will need to use a third party for this. I read somewhere on a thread of a company that does this in the states but cant recall the name, can someone help me with this please. Then I would like to know if he will need a “ITAC”? Permit for the stock or does it not apply to stocks?

I tried a few years ago and people were unwilling to do it because of export permits, may have changed but I doubt it. Ordered mine from the UK, no issues.

My experience with freight forwarders is that they don't want to take the risk with anything firearms related, even airsoft stuff, in case they fall foul of the law

@Paul, can you give me more details please. The only “blu log” i seem to find is a data logger device.

Stefano sleeps with the MD, so he knows who to talk to to get stuff done.
