License Renewal
Hi Guys
Just wanted to figure something out. With all different things being said, when renewal time draws clear. does it need to be before the 90days of expiry the license renewal application done? Or in the 90 day period?
Cheers

Re: License Renewal
Maybe not, in KZN they will not take it before 90 days. Was at DFO last week to hand in renewal, on time, he said come back in a month, so that will be about 60 days.
Here they will still accept it on the day before it expires.

Re: License Renewal
Standard response, " the way it is worded is confusing, so I thought it was within 90 days", basically blame yourself for a minor error, even if it's not your fault.

From the FCA
24 Renewal of firearm licences
(1) The holder of a licence issued in terms of this Chapter who wishes to renew the licence must at least 90 days before the date of expiry of the licence apply to the Registrar for its renewal.
