Folding shooting table - plans and ideas please?
Good morning Folks,
The nearest shooting range goes to 900m of which I only use the first 300m .
Bigger problem: there are no shooting tables and transporting a wobbly kiddies' table to shoot over is not ideal.
I want to build a folding shooting table.
Can anyone point me to a link, thread or web page with plans to diy it?
Thanks a lot!

I looked into this a while back & found a number of good ideas on Pinterest. I haven't got any further with the project though.

Jaap,
I made one which is rather complex with cross struts etc. machines parts, with holes to fasten my shooting vice etc.
I can redraw this to take three pipe flanges with three threaded pipes.
The main thing is the surface. Are you left or right?

You can buy one similar to this locally and I don't reckon they're that expensive. Depends on how handy you are and how much you want to spend. I've got one in the garage somewhere. They fold down in to a bag and work quite well.

Re: Folding shooting table - plans and ideas please?
I shoot mainly right handed, although I am fairly ambidextrous.
The particular shooting range is an old army range used by SA JAgters, so the ground surface is quite rough.
There are low "walls" / humps for prone shooting but I prefer to do my load development and recreational shooting from a sitting position, except if someone can give pointers that prone shooting would give better results.
