Default Glock Gen 5 trigger setups

I was pleasantly surprised with the stock Gen 5 trigger compared to previous generations. Has anybody changed the stock setup, to a minus connector? It made a difference on previous generations, how did it change on your Gen 5 if you have went this route?

I shot mine with a stock setup for a year, until the IPSC Production rules changed. Stock it was a decent trigger, and better than previous Gen's yes. After the rule change, I swopped out the connector for a factory 2kg one, and swopped the springs out for some Eemantech springs, trigger break came down from around 6lbs to just under 4lbs now. I have no issues with the new setup, and the break and reset still acceptable for the way I slap the trigger around.

My competition Gen5 has an Wolff striker spring and a Zev Connector in it. Its a very nice trigger but I wouldn't carry it.

My carry gun has a 2kg connector and an Eeman tech striker spring.

on the assumption you don't do stuff if it doesn't benefit..can I ask what the striker spring does that stock doesn't ?

    Make the trigger lighter.

the trade off is that it makes the firing pin hit the primer softer, but the Gen5 design is more forgiving and I've tested it enough to be happy for my own uses.

Should you choose to put aftermarket parts in always be aware that they could negatively effect reliability.

I have bothered Terrick privately about it. Such a coincidence, (or maybe not) but saw Jiznis add on gunsite after I posted my question

Definitely going to look at getting some of those
