    Toxxyc, great , I think the man to show how you make the mead is Johan Greyling so he can make his ginger beer as well as the honey mead ....we can use the honey I extract from my hives..it will be great to meet another forum member..it really is to me a great privilege when I am able to meet forum members..the past few years I have been fortunate to meet some members and it really was a great experience meeting people with the same interests...

    Happy days - a swarm arrived yesterday afternoon at about 15h00 and moved in within about 20 minutes. I have been watching the scouts coming and going at the hive for about 2 weeks and put water out for them and trimmed trees to help with the flight path. Also a few drops of lemon grass essence and old comb may have helped. A swarm arriving and moving in is an impressive site and sound.
