Re: Trophy Hunting, Part One: The nasty colonial sport of shooting wild animals
Why is it sad that "money" (or call it capitalism) has built a conservation success story?
I have even heard the view by a "conservationist" that it would be better for the White rhino to go extinct, if the only way to save it would be the harvesting of its horns for money.

Fully agreed Doc. If it pays it stays. Simple. That’s why cows are alive. Funny that it’s considered morally acceptable to send them off for mass slaughter but when we shoot a Kudu Bull there is an outrage from the same people who are munching in A grade ribeye and covert their beautiful leather couches.

You guys are 100% factually and logically correct, but you are not listening.
If it pays it stays worked then why is hunting under siege all over the world?
Simple, it's got nothing to do with it pays it stays.
You can build a stripclub in a well off neighborhood, it will pay, it won't stay.
Humans don't work this way, this is not an economical debate, why is this so hard to understand?
