    Default Mauser 1871/84 black powder rifles two of the same

    Good day members, here are photos of my Mauser 1871/84 ..I was fortunate to purchase two of these great Mausers from a person in the USA..these Mausers stood in a rifle safe for 46 years...It costs me R750 each..really not a lot of money..

    Yes, Mike, I concur..I will use the second rifle as rifle parts and hunt with the first one that is in a great condition..although I first need to look at their rifling ...

    The shipping, insurance, etc. probably cost as much as the rifles?

    That I still need to ask Tony, he shipped it back from the person who had them ...both are living in the USA...when he brings it to SA I doubt if I have to pay custom tax since it is only from R5000 when I need to pay import tax..I purchase these two rifles for R750 each..will let you know what the costs was when I receive them..if any costs at all.
