Kudu.
I ran across these kudu yesterday towards the end of a hunt with an American hunter. He hunted a good kudu last year, so we were not hunting kudu.
Good bull.
Cow with calf.

Re: Kudu.
Similar thoughts where my BIL farms. Him and I drove past a dead bull a little while back. Was the biggest we have seen so we took it back to the shed and horns measured just over 50" on the one horn and 49" on the other. He is not that far south of you just below Norvals. The biggest I have shot in that area over the last 10 years if I recall correctly was 46" with most being 44" and under I reckon. Every now and then he spots a monster, but his theory is those genetics are brought in via neighbouring game farms where the animal has escaped.
Speaking of escaping, interestingly enough there were 6 beautiful Roan cruising around the one camp last month. Their owner was arranging "collection" quite quickly when he was informed, but it has taken him > 3 years and he still hasn't done anything about capturing what is now a 10 strong herd of Gemsbok :)
