    Yes a serious ring can form just after shell ends, I have on occasion battled to remove this calcified like ring of rock hard carbon. It is worth while reading up on it. Two of my revolvers would form this ring to the point that it became hard to load new ammunition. Cody's 512 Sportmaster also had a severe ring when I bought it ( it may have had 60 yrs of shooting through it though). I had forgotten about this carbon ring matter, been some time since I focused on the .22's

    Yes, the leading can be a major accuracy issue. When it gets to that point, the only way to solve it is lots of elbow grease with a bronze brush. Not all barrels have that issue, and it seem to happen more often when using unlubed bullets, or when wiping off the lube from lubed bullets.

    A cleaning regimen is a good thing, I have one, I get it.

    But a whole REGIMENT!? How many friggin dirty guns do you have?
